Cal Expo Harness Racing brings an entertainment opportunity of a lifetime to Sacramento. Plan a celebration of all kinds from birthday parties to corporate & social gatherings, with a budget to fit your pocket. We are ready to plan a customized and memorable night at the races for you and your guest, for groups of 10 or more. The pricing for your special event start as low as $20.00 per person.

Packages

Each inclusive package will include:

• Admission and reserved seating for you & all your guests in the Clubhouse
• One official racing program per guest
• Group dedication on the tote board & on televisions (which are broadcasted all over the U.S),
• Dedication is also mentioned by the track announcer.
• One winner circle photo with the winning horse of your dedicated race for up to 15 people.
• VIP rides in our pace car.
• Event coordinator assigned to your group to ensure a successful and joyful night at the races!

Small Group Package:

Up to 50 people - small plated dinner.

Silver/ Gold Buffet Package:

More than 50 people - elegantly set buffet with choice of a meat carving station.

Dress Code

All our Clubhouse guests are asked to dress in casual but appropriate dining attire.

Parking

Please park in the Satellite Wagering Preferred Parking Lot located in Lot D, just off of Exposition Blvd.

Plans & Payment

A completed contract and $100 deposit is due at time of reservation.
Payment can be made by check or charge (Visa or MasterCard Only).
Full payment & final count of guests is due 72 hours before reservation date. No Exceptions!!
Failure to make full payment may result in cancellation of group reservation.
No refunds for cancellations or decreases in number of guests after 72 hours before reservation.
No refund for "no shows".

FAQ's

Q: Do I need Tickets to get in? 
A: Yes, All guests in your party will need a ticket for entry into Cal Expo..

Q: When will I receive my tickets?
A: Tickets may be mailed or picked up at Cal Expo prior to your event. Tickets will be mailed out after $100 deposit and contract have been signed.

Q: Do I get a Program with my ticket?
A: Yes. An official racing program is included with each ticket and is handed to you after showing ticket at admissions counter.

Q: What time may I arrive in the venue where I have reserved a
table(s)?
A: You will be able to access your reserved table about an hour before your reserved time. If you want to come earlier to decorate your designated area please discuss that with the group sales supervisor.

Q: What time do the gates open and the races begin?
A: Gates are open for our night racing at 4:30pm and races will begin between 5:30pm and 6:30 pm. make sure to ask the group sales supervisor for more specific times on you designated night.

Q: How long does the race run?
A: During most nights, Cal Expo runs 10-12 races and typically ends between 10:30pm and 11:30pm.

Q: When is my final payment due and how will I know my final balance?
A: Final payment is due 72 hours prior to the date of the event. A invoice is mailed to you before payment is due. Final payments are due by check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard only).

Q: What is the service charge and is tip included in price?
A: A service charge will be added to your reservation if more employees are called in to assist your party. Our catering company contractor will let you know if a service charge will be added. Tip is also not included in package pricing. If tipping party host, please tip in cash and tipping Bar and Waiting staff by cash or sign off on credit slips.

Q: Are kids allowed?
A: Kids are allowed and pricing per child is discussed with the catering contractor.
